Pulling away from DoubleClick: Two of DoubleClick's (DCLK) partners have
distanced themselves from the online ad company. AltaVista moved to limit
the information it provided to DoubleClick and the CEO of Internet
home-delivery service Kozmo.com admitted he ordered his staff to terminate
the companies' relationship. DoubleClick is under investigation by the
Federal Trade Commission and was sued by the state of Michigan for alleged
consumer privacy violations.
