"Looking ahead, any delay in receiving the permit might cause additional pressure in early January, but since KRY is one of our accumulation stocks with a long-term expected event ahead, (the financing and construction in 2005 and beginning of production at Las Cristinas in 2006) we have the luxury of being able to welcome any weakness as opportunity with KRY. As we have just witnessed, there will very likely be short-term volatility, even frighteningly harsh moves, especially during periods of concentrated selling by funds reacting to or anticipating moves in the gold market, or during periods of short-term disappointment over missed deadlines by the company for long-anticipated events, … but underneath those short-term events and that volatility is a company that has solid, seasoned management steadily moving this company into position to finance and to build one of the largest gold mines that will come on line this decade.

Long-term investors and accumulators will not be forgetting that foundation going forward, and as we have said before, the closer that Crystallex gets to the actual start of production at Las Cristinas, the more likely it becomes that they will become the target of one of the majors or intermediates which now need to replace the diminishing reserves that they are producing elsewhere. Also as I have said before, I believe that once the final permit is securely in hand, that event will start a symbolic clock ticking that will add a sense of urgency to the companies that might have their eye on the 12.8 million ounces of gold reserves at Las Cristinas, and perhaps just a little bit of “blue sky” at Las Cristinas and the other projects that Crystallex controls, some of which are now off the balance sheet.

Barring catastrophic news, in my humble opinion KRY should be accumulated opportunistically on significant dips with a long-term view in anticipation of this company’s promising future, plus the likely speculation of possible takeover news,..."

Crystallex May Face Takeover Bids on Venezuela Mine, Bruce Says
March 7 (Bloomberg) -- Crystallex International Corp. may become the target for takeovers as it pursues plans to mine Venezuela's largest gold deposit, Chief Executive Todd Bruce said.

The Toronto-based gold-mining company, which is developing its Las Cristinas property in Bolivar state, may draw unwanted attention from gold producers looking to expand as Crystallex moves to start operations in late 2006, Bruce said in an interview.

``We don't live in a vacuum, it's hard to hide a 13 million ounce gold deposit,'' Bruce said today while attending a Toronto mining conference. ``The closer we get to production, the higher the profile we'll get in the industry.''

EINSTEIGEN!!

Crystallex Updates Shareholders on the Las Cristinas Permitting Dialogue
Thursday August 14, 10:10 am ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 14, 2008 -- CRYSTALLEX INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION (Toronto:KRY.TO - News)(KRY - News) today updated shareholders and stakeholders regarding the ongoing dialogue and process between the Venezuelan Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources ("MinAmb") and Crystallex regarding Authorization to Affect Natural Resources (the "Permit") at the Las Cristinas Gold Project.

On June 24, 2008, Crystallex advised shareholders and stakeholders that it was invited to a meeting by representatives of MinAmb including the Vice-Minister. At the meeting, Crystallex was informed that MinAmb was instructed by the Government of Venezuela to reconsider issuance of the Las Cristinas Permit by discussing with Crystallex possible modifications to the Las Cristinas Project to diminish the environmental impacts of the project and thus enable the Permit to be issued. The modifications suggested by the MinAmb representative fall within three main categories:

- Further improvements to optimising the social projects in the area.

- Mitigating the impact of open-vein mining in the currently affected areas of the Imataca Forest Reserve.

- Improving the remediation plans at the end of the mine life as well as repairing existing environmental damage caused by illegal mining.

The Company prepared a report which addressed these three areas and the report has been submitted to MinAmb. In addition, as part of the ongoing process towards the issuance of the Permit on August 7th and 8th, 2008, a team from MinAmb led by the Vice-Minister completed a site visit of the Las Cristinas Project. As part of this visit, the team inspected the social projects including the medical clinic and sewage treatment facility which are both currently under construction.

Commenting on the process, Mr. Robert Fung, Crystallex Chairman and CEO stated, "While it's early to predict the results of the process, we are encouraged by the progress made and the completion of the site visit, and remain optimistic about a prompt and successful completion of the process."
