ALEXANDRIA DRILLS ANOMALOUS GOLD ON JOANNES PROPERTY

Alexandria Minerals Corp. has intersected scattered anomalous gold testing the Cadillac break and subsidiary fault zones, including 5.19 grams per tonne gold over 0.7 metre in hole JAX-07-01.

The Joannes property, located in Joannes township, Quebec, about 20 kilometres east of Noranda, is situated 10 km west of the Bousquet mine, which produced three million ounces of gold and is adjacent to the Joanna property of Aurizon Mines Ltd., where it recently announced a near-surface indicated resource of 5.4 million tonnes grading 1.8 g/t gold containing 309,000 ounces and an inferred resource of 21.8 million tonnes grading 1.6 g/t gold containing 1.1 million ounces (refer to Aurizon's news in Stockwatch dated May 11, 2007).

Diamond-drill hole JAX-07-01, the first hole Alexandria drilled on the property, intersected the Cadillac break from 60.4 metres to 90.8 metres depth with attendant quartz-carbonate veins and 1 per cent to 2 per cent pyrite and arsenopyrite.

Two drills turning on Cadillac break properties

In other activities, as part of its second-phase drilling program on the Cadillac break properties in Val d'Or, the company continues to drill on the Orenada and Airport properties with two drill rigs. Four holes have been completed at Orenada since the beginning of this program in early June, testing extensions of the Orenada Nos. 4 and 2 zones, where Alexandria announced in Stockwatch on March 29, 2007, a high-grade intersection of 12.55 m grading 7.9 g/t gold and 89.1 m grading 1.09 g/t gold (reported in Stockwatch on April 25, 2007). In an effort to minimize environmental impact, this rig is being supported by helicopter. Assay results for these holes and four holes on the Airport property are pending.

The results presented in this press release are exploratory in nature and have been reviewed by the company's qualified person, Eddy Canova, PGeo. The drilling program employs a quality assurance/quality control program consistent with National Instrument 43-101 and industry best practices. Drill core is NQ size, and is logged, sampled and split at the company's Val d'Or office, in intervals of 0.3 metre to a maximum of 1.5 metres. The samples are recorded, bagged and sent to Bourlamaque Assay Lab in Val d'Or for assay. Samples are analyzed for gold, silver, copper and zinc via a 30-gram pulp by FAA for Au and AA for Ag, Cu and Zn. Reassays by FA gravimetric finish are performed on samples assaying greater than one g/t Au and reassays greater than five g/t Au are checked a second time by FA gravimetric finish.

Toronto, Ontario - 25. Juni 2007 - Alexandria Minerals Corporation (TSX-V: AZX; Frankfurt: A9D) durchschnitt gestreute anomale Goldvorkommen bei der Prüfung des Cadillac Break und der zugehörigen Störungszonen, darunter 5,19 g Gold/T in einem 0,7 m mächtigen Horizont in Bohrloch JAX-07-01.

Die Liegenschaft Joannes liegt in Joannes Township, Quebec, etwa 20 km östlich von Noranda und 10 km westlich der Mine Bousquet, in der bisher 3 Mio. Feinunzen Gold gefördert wurden, und unmittelbar neben dem Grubenfeld Joanna der Aurizon Mines Ltd., die kürzlich neue oberflächennahe gefolgerte Vorkommen von 5,4 Mio. Tonnen mit einem Goldgehalt von 1,8 g/T (entspricht 309.000 Feinunzen) sowie gefolgerte Vorkommen von 21,8 Mio. Tonnen mit einem Goldgehalt von 1,6 g/T bzw. 1,1 Mio. Feinunzen meldete (11. Mai 2007).

Die Diamantbohrung JAX-07-01 ist die erste Bohrung, die Alexandria im Grubenfeld niederbrachte. Sie durchschnitt den Cadillac Break in einer Tiefe zwischen 60,4 und 90,8 m mit Quarzkarbonat-Erzgängen sowie 1 bis 2 % Pyrit und Arsenopyrit. Fortsetzung der Bohrungen mit zwei Bohranlagen auf den Cadillac Break Liegenschaften Im Rahmen ihres Bohrprogramms der zweiten Phase auf den Liegenschaften Cadillac Break in Val d'Or bohrt das Unternehmen außerdem mit zwei Bohranlagen auf den Projekten Orenada und Airport. Seit Beginn dieses Programms Anfang Juni wurden in Orenada bisher 4 Bohrungen abgeschlossen, mit denen Ausläufer der Zonen Orenada Nr. 4 und Nr. 2 überprüft werden sollen, bei denen Alexandria einen reichen Bohrschnitt von 12,55 m Mächtigkeit mit 7,90 g Gold/T (29. März 2007) und von 89,1 m Mächtigkeit mit einem Goldgehalt von 1,09 g/T (25. April 2007) meldete. Um die Umweltbeeinflussungen zu minimieren, wird diese Bohranlage mit einem Helikopter bedient. Die Analyseergebnisse aus diesen Bohrungen und den vier Bohrungen auf dem Grubenfeld Airport stehen noch aus.

Die Ergebnisse in dieser Pressemitteilung sind vorläufig und beziehen sich nur auf den Explorationsstatus, wurden aber von dem qualifizierten Sachverständigen des Unternehmens, Eddy Canova, PGeo., geprüft. Im Rahmen des Bohrprogramms wird ein Qualitätssicherungs- und Qualitätskontrollprogramm entsprechend der nationalen Vorschrift NI 43-101 und entsprechend den bewährten Verfahren der Branche eingeführt. The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation whereby the company terminated its obligation under an existing option and joint venture agreement dated May 29, 2006, with Cambior Inc. pursuant to which the company was granted an option to earn an undivided 50-per-cent interest in the Akasaba and Block Sud properties located near Val d'Or, Que. Iamgold-Quebec Inc. is now the successor-in-interest to Cambior as a result of a merger in 2006. Pursuant to a letter of intent dated May 1, 2007, and amended May 17, 2007, and a purchase and sale agreement executed on June 22, 2007, between the company and Iamgold, the company is now purchasing a 100-per-cent interest in these properties. Consideration is as follows:


$83,333.33 and within 10 days of exchange acceptance of the agreement for filing the issuance of 263,713 common shares valued at $83,333.33;
$166,666.67 in cash and/or common shares upon the first anniversary of signing of which the deemed value per share will be subject to a floor price of not less than 26 cents;
$166,666.67 in cash and/or common shares upon the second anniversary of signing of which the deemed value per share will be subject to a floor price of not less than 26 cents.

Die Alexandria Minerals Corporation (TSX VENTURE:AZX)(FRANKFURT:A9D) hat in
ihren ersten Prüfungslöchern auf der Airport Liegenschaft in Val dOr, Quebec,
zahlreiche anormale Goldvorkommen durchschnitten, einschließlich einem
Bohrschnitt von 0,7 m mit 9,35g/t Gold und einem Bohrschnitt von 13,5 m mit
0,51g/t Gold (Bohrweiten).

Die ersten Bohrlöcher der Gesellschaft, die sich auf der Airport Liegenschaft
etwa 3 km westlich der Liegenschaft Orenada (siehe Abb. 1) befinden, wo die
Gesellschaft 89,1 m mit einem Gehalt von 1,04 g/t Gold im Cadillac Break (25.
April 2007) durchschnitt, sollten geophysikalische Anomalien hauptsächlich
entlang des Cadillac Break testen. Diamond Bohrloch AAX-07-17 erbrachte mehrere
positive Golddurchschnitte in deformiertem Pyrit-, Pyrrhotit- und
Arsenopyrit-haltigen Quartz-Serikit-Biotit Schiefer ähnlich dem in Orenada, mit
Quartz-Akerit-Adern, die 0,83 g/t Au bei einer Mächtigkeit von 8,15 m
(einschließlich 2,14 g/t Au bei einer Mächtigkeit von 2,80 m und 9,35 g/t Au bei
einer Mächtigkeit von 0.7 m) erbrachten. Die Ergebnisse der beiden zusätzlichen
Bohrlöcher stehen noch aus.

Die Ergebnisse sind ermutigend, da sie die Existenz eines großen Goldsystems im
westlichen Teil unserer Cadillac Break Liegenschaften anzeigen.' sagt Eric
Owens, Präsident der Alexandria. 'Zu diesem System gehört der Cadillac Break,
die Centre Post Diorit-Intrusion sowie weite Metallanomalien, insbesondere Gold
und Kupfer, die sich um die Goldvorkommen in dem historischen Orenada-Bereich

Abgesehen davon haben an der Orenada Zone, wo eine zweite Bohrung stattfindet,
die Untersuchungsergebnisse des ersten der fünf fertig gestellten Bohrlöcher,
mit denen die Erweiterung der Orenada Nr. 4 Zone untersucht werden soll, in
Bohrloch OAX-07-1 in mehreren Abschnitten anomale Goldwerte ergeben. Dieses
Bohrloch durchschnitt den angepeilten Cadillac Break 96 m oberhalb des Bohrlochs
AAX-07-12, über das bereits berichtet wurde (12,55 m mit einem Gehalt von 7,9
g/t Gold; 27. März 2007), und umfasst einen Abschnitt mit 0,53 g/t bei einer
Mächtigkeit von 4,3 m in alteriertem porphyritischen Diorit, einem Satelliten
der Centre Post Intrusion.

In der aktuellen Phase der Bohrungen wurden 18 Bohrlöcher fertig gestellt und
die Gesellschaft setzt mit 2 Bohrtürmen auf den Cadillac Break Liegenschaften
ihre Bohraktivitäten fort. Ein Bohrturm ist der Orenada Liegenschaft gewidmet,
wo 10 Bohrlöcher gebohrt worden sind, der andere Untersuchungs-Bohrturm testet
geophysikalische und geologische Ziele um die Centre Post Intrusion. In der
unten stehenden Tabelle sind die Untersuchungsergebnisse des ersten Bohrlochs in
Orenada und der ersten beiden Bohrlöcher in Airport aufgeführt; die Ergebnisse
der restlichen 15 Löcher stehen noch aus.

ALEXANDRIA INTERSECTS NEW GOLD ZONES IN THE CADILLAC BREAK ON THE AIRPORT PROPERTY

Alexandria Minerals Corp. has drilled multiple anomalous gold intersections in its first exploratory holes on the Airport property, Val d'Or, Que., including 9.35 grams per tonne gold over 0.7 metre and 0.51 gram per tonne gold over 13.5 metres (drilled widths).

The company's first drill holes on the Airport property, located approximately three kilometres west of the Orenada property, where the company intersected 89.1 metres grading 1.04 grams per tonne gold in the Cadillac break (April 25, 2007), were designed to test geophysical anomalies principally along the Cadillac break. Diamond drill hole AAX-07-17, yielded several positive gold intersections in deformed pyrite-, pyrrhotite- and arsenopyrite-bearing quartz-sericite-biotite schist similar to that at Orenada, with quartz-ankerite veins, yielding 0.83 gram per tonne gold over 8.15 metres (including 2.14 grams per tonne gold over 2.80 metres and 9.35 grams per tonne gold over 0.7 metre). Results from two additional holes are still pending.

"The results are encouraging as they indicate the presence of a large gold system in the western portion of our Cadillac break properties," says Eric Owens, president of Alexandria. "The ingredients for this system include the Cadillac break, the Centre Post diorite intrusion and broad metal anomalies, especially gold and copper, centred around the historic Orenada-area gold deposits."

ALEXANDRIA INCREASES SIZE OF ORENADA 2 WITH 8.15 M GRADING 11.44 G/T GOLD

Alexandria Minerals Corp. has intersected 48.45 metres grading 2.19 grams per tonne Au (uncut grade), including 8.15 m grading 11.44 g/t Au and 1.55 m grading 40.79 g/t Au from the continuing diamond drill program on the Orenada project, Val d'Or, Que. (all widths are core lengths).

The mineralized interval in hole OAX-07-16 occurs from 102.90 m to 151.35 m (drilled depth) and represents the first complete assays received from 12 step-out holes testing the potential of the eastern extension of Orenada 2. These results show that mineralization continues to the east at Orenada 2, which has not previously been tested.

Also, results from hole OAX-07-11, drilled 200 m vertically below historic mineralization at Orenada 2, intersected 34.80 m grading 0.56 g/t Au, including 16.25 m grading 1.05 g/t gold and 4.95 m grading 1.69 g/t Au. This hole was drilled 70 m west of previously reported DDH AAX-07-10, which intersected 110 m grading 0.50 g/t Au, including 4.20 m grading 2.98 g/t Au (see news as reported in Stockwatch April 25, 2007); these deeper holes show that wide gold zones continue at depth, and may indicate an eastward-plunging zone similar to that at Orenada 4.

Alexandria has Two Diamond Drills Under Contract to Drill 20,000 Meters in 2008

Toronto, January 24, 2008 –Alexandria Minerals Corporation (TSX VENTURE:AZX)(FRANKFURT:A9D) has two drill rigs contracted to complete 20,000 meters of drilling in 2008 on its properties in the Abitibi greenstone belt of northern Ontario and Quebec, a region that has produced some 180 million ounces of gold since the early 1900's.

Orenada
One of the drill rigs will soon be dedicated to the Orenada block, to continue enlarging Orenada 2 & 4 (two, near surface gold zones) where the Company completed 38 holes during 2007. Recent drill results show that higher-grade and wider zones of gold occur along multiple flat-lying trends within the Cadillac Break fault zone, and that they are open along strike and at depth.

Other targets
One drill rig is currently operating, exploring highly prospective exploration targets on the 35 km long Cadillac Break properties, where the Company will continue to focus most of its efforts. Initial drilling is testing targets previously identified by prior Alexandria drill holes. One of these targets to be drilled shortly, when ice conditions permit, will be the historic deposit at Sleepy, located at the eastern end of the Cadillac Break properties, approximately 25 km east of Orenada.

Elsewhere, a small 4-hole drill program is underway on the Company's Matachewan property in Ontario, which has similar geology to the nearby Young-Davidson gold deposit of Northgate Minerals, with inferred and indicated resources of 2 million ounces of gold. The purpose of this program is to test below encouraging holes completed by Alexandria in 2005 and to test historical trench results that yielded a number of encouraging results, including 6 g/t Au over 2 m, 2 g/t Au over 2 m, and 68 g/t Au from a chip sample.

In other matters, the Company has granted an aggregate of 2,655,000 incentive stock options exercisable at a price of $0.21. Of these, 2,420,000 are exercisable for a period of 5 years, of which 2,400,000 are to the Company's directors and officers, the remainder issued to employees. 235,000 stock options are to be issued to employees and consultants of the Company, are exercisable for 3 years.

Press Releases               Alexandria Releases NI 43-101 Compliant Resource  Estimate for Orenada Gold Deposit, Val d'Or               TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Sept. 16, 2009) - Alexandria Minerals Corporation (TSX VENTURE:AZX)(FRANKFURT:A9D) reported today that it has released its first resource estimate at its 100%-owned Orenada property in Bourlamaque Township, Val d'Or, Quebec. The mineral resource estimates, which are National Instrument ("NI") 43-101 compliant, were completed by independent Qualified Persons at A. S. Horvath Engineering Inc. in Ottawa and at Tech2Mine Inc. in Val d'Or, and verified by Geologica Groupe-Conseil Inc., an independent geological consulting firm based in Val d'Or.               Measured, Indicated and Inferred Resources have been identified in two principal near-surface zones, Orenada 4 and, located 600 m east along the Cadillac Break, Orenada 2. Highlights of these results are:               At a 1.0 g/t Au cut-off, from surface to 250 m, capped at 31.5 g/t, total Measured and Indicated Resources at Orenada 4 and 2 are 4,598,334 tonnes grading 1.82 g/t Au, for 268,528 ounces Au. Also at a 1.0 g/t Au cut-off, from surface to 250 m, Inferred Resources are  2,478,674 tonnes grading 1.56 g/t Au, for 124,248 ounces Au.               Because the deposit is open along strike and at depth, Geologica recommends a follow-up drilling programme of 15,000 m in an effort to up-grade existing resources and build further resources.               Eric Owens, President and CEO of Alexandria, said, "This resource estimate of the near-surface Orenada Zones 2 and 4 has surpassed our expectations. We have increased the resources four-fold over historical estimates, and we have demonstrated considerable potential for further growth at the project. This is an important milestone for Alexandria, one which brings us further down the road toward development."               Due to the positive results from the study, and to the property's favorable location in the infrastructure-rich Val d'Or mining district, the Company has begun an NI 43-101 compliant preliminary economic assessment, to be completed in the Fall of 2009, as the next step in Orenada's development.                              Summary of Orenada Resources (1.0 g/t Au Cut-Off, 0-250 m depth)                             Orenada 2 and Orenada 4 were initially discovered in the 1930's, and were subject to 5 decades of exploration, culminating in an in-house resource estimation by Aur Resources Inc. in 1991 of 2.1 million tons grading 0.046 oz Au /ton (1.4 g/t Au). During this period a bulk sample of 72,000 tonnes was taken and processed at the nearby Aurbel plant, in the eventuality of operating an open pit type of gold mine. Also during that time, a 1,000 foot shaft was sunk, and two exploration drifts were constructed at the 500 foot and 800 foot depths.                 Alexandria acquired Orenada as part of a large property acquisition in late 2006 from Aur Resources, and after its initial round of test drilling in winter 2006-2007, began its exploration activities in earnest in mid-2007. Since that time the Company has completed 65 drill holes on Orenada, totaling 21,775 m, in an effort to build a near-surface gold deposit. The property is owned 100% by Alexandria, and is subject to a 2.5% Net Smelter Royalty, which may be lowered to 1.5% by payment of $1,000,000.                 The Orenada deposit is a shear zone-hosted deposit, within the notable Cadillac Break, and is characterized by highly deformed and multiply-folded quartz-carbonate-tourmaline and quartz-carbonate veinlets, hosted in sheared quartz-sericite-carbonate schist. Gold is associated with pyrite and arsenopyrite. In addition to the broad, disseminated mineralization, local high grade zones do occur, an example of which is provided by Alexandria's first drill hole into Orenada 4 which assayed 21.37 g/t Au over 4.05 m, typically as narrower veins within the broader lower grade envelope.                                 Orenada Zones 2 and 4 Mineral Resources - Surface to -250 m, Variable Cut-Off                                             Notes:                      1) Mineral  Resources which are not Mineral Reserves do not have demonstrated economic  viability.                   2) Interpretation of the mineralized zones used 3D wireframed solids based on the cutoff grade indicated and a minimum horizontal thickness of 1.5 m; Zone 2 consists of 4 individual subzones.                   3) Resource estimation employed an inverse squared distance algorithm to interpolate block model grades from 1.5 m DDH assay composite points. Ranges and orientations for search and interpolation ellipses were developed from variography results. Block cell dimensions of 5 m by 2.5 m by 5m, and a specific gravity of 2.83 t/m3 for Orenada Zone 4 and 2.78 t/m3 for Orenada Zone 2, were used.                   4) Individual assays were cut to 63.00 g/t Au, no cutting at Zone 2; grade capping at Zone 4 on 1.5 m composites is 31.5 g/t Au; no capping at Zone 2.                             The geostatistical evaluation of the diamond drill hole and chip sample assay results were performed by Alex Horvath, QP, of A. S. Horvath Engineering Inc. from Ottawa. Block Modelling was performed using Gemcom by Robert Duchesne of Tech2Mine Inc. in Val-d'Or. Geological interpretation and geological database compilation of Orenada was performed by E.Canova, QP, of Alexandria Minerals Corporation. The Independent Qualified Persons for the NI 43-101 are Alain-Jean Beauregard, P. Geo., OGQ, FGAC and Daniel Gaudreault, P. Eng., OIQ, both of Geologica. This Press Release has been reviewed by all parties, and the technical report for this resource estimate will be filed on SEDAR within 45 days.               Programme design, management, and Quality Control/Quality Assurance is governed by Alexandria's exploration group, of which Eddy Canova, PGeo, and Eric Owens, PGeo, are the Company's Qualified Persons. Mr. Canova supervises the technical activities of the Company. The QA/QC programme is consistent with NI 43-101 and industry best practices; this will be summarized in the technical report, but has previously been addressed in the NI 43-101 Technical Report on the Cadillac Break properties (February 2008). The Company currently has approximately $1.8 million in cash and short term assets available to complete the next stage programs on its Orenada property as well as on its other two principal properties, Akasaba and Sleepy, located 15 km east and 25 km east of Orenada, respectively. Gehe mal davon aus, dass danach der Kurs stark zulegen wird.
