INTERNATIONAL ARIMEX ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT
Vancouver B.C. Canada: Mr. Chris England, President of International Arimex Resources Inc., (“Int’l Arimex”) is pleased to announce the Company is offering a non brokered private placement for securities in the amount of $ 520,000.
The issue will consist of the following:
FLOW THROUGH UNITS
Up to 2,000,000 flow through units at $0.18 per unit. Each unit consists of one flow through common share in the capital of the Company and one non flow through common share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to buy one additional non flow through common share of the Company for a period of 12 months from the date of the closing of the Private Placement. The exercise price of the warrants will be $0.23.
NON FLOW THROUGH UNITS
Up to 1,000,000 non flow through units at $0.16 per unit. Each unit consists of one non flow through common share in the capital of the Company and one non flow through common share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to buy one additional non flow through common share of the Company for a period of 12 months from the date of the closing of the Private Placement. The exercise price of the warrants will be $0.21.
The Company shall rely on the “Accredited Investor Exemption” (B.C., Alberta, Ontario) and the “Friends and Relatives Exemption” (B.C.), therefore will not be preparing an offering document.
Commissions or finder’s fees will be paid pursuant to this Private Placement in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
The gross proceeds of the offering will be used in part for general working capital and the “flow through portion” of the Private Placement will be used for qualified Canadian Exploration Expenditures.
The Private Placement is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Die größten Uranerzreserven liegen in den Ländern USA, Niger, Australien, Kasachstan, Namibia, Südafrika, Kanada, Brasilien, Russland, Ukraine und Usbekistan. Das Athabasca Basin im nordwestlichen Saskatchewan in Kanada ist das größte und uranreichste Uranabbaugebiet der Welt und für mehr als 33 % der Weltproduktion verantwortlich.
Chinas Energiekrise
Mittlerweile sind ernste Energie-Engpässe und regelmäßige Stromausfälle in den Grosstädten Chinas an der Tagesordnung. Deshalb will China die Erzeugung von Atomstrom bis 2020 von aktuell 6,5 Gigawatt auf mindestens 36 Gigawatt erhöhen. Die verstärkte Nachfrage nach Uran aus China wird dazu führen, dass der Uranpreis in den nächsten Jahren weiter deutlich ansteigen wird.
Neue Atomkraftwerke sind geplant
Es kommt deshalb nicht von ungefähr, dass viele Industrienationen wieder auf die Kernenergie im Energie-Mix setzen wollen. Der Betrieb von Atomkraftwerken zur Energiegewinnung ist die wichtigste kommerzielle Möglichkeit, Uran zu nutzen. Ein Tonne von natürlichem Uran entspricht der Energieausbeute von 20.000 Tonnen Kohle, von 30 Millionen Kubikmeter von natürlichem Gas und etwa 45 Millionen Kilowattstunden Elektrizität. Aktuell wird durch Uran etwa rund 16% des weltweiten Elektrizitätsbedarfs abgedeckt. Insgesamt existieren 445 Reaktoren in 31 Ländern.
Die weltweite Urannachfrage wird aufgrund neuer Kernkraftwerke, vor allem in jungen Industrienationen wie China stark ansteigen. So sollen in Indien 31 neue Reaktoren entstehen, Russland plant 25 zusätzliche Kernkraftwerke und China will 40 neue Atomkraftwerke bauen, was jedoch dort nur etwa 5 % des zukünftigen Energiebedarfes des Landes abdecken wird. Weitere Erhöhungen der Planzahlen dürften deshalb nur eine Frage der Zeit sein. Amerikas 103 Reaktoren in 66 Atomanlagen haben pro Jahr mehr als 700 Milliarden Kilowattstunden Strom produziert. Wenn in den USA die Zahl seiner Atommeiler verdoppelt würde, so könnte Amerika alleine hieraus etwa 40 % seines Energiebedarfes decken. Allerdings ist Amerika heute sehr stark von Fremdlieferungen von Uran abhängig.

("Arimex") ist erfreut, mitteilen zu können, dass das Unternehmen Canalaska Uranium Ltd. mit der Durchführung des 3 Bohrungen umfassenden Programmes im Rahmen seines Schlüsselprojektes im Key Lake Uranium Project im Athabasca Basin im Norden Saskatchewans beauftragen konnte. Das Unternehmen hat einen Bericht der Condor Consulting Inc. über die Analyse der VTEM EM und magnetischen Untersuchungen im Key Lake Gebiet erhalten. Die Analyse beschreibt die Existenz von 3 Zielzonen in dem Gebiet, für die Arimex von der Canalaska Uranium Ltd. aus Vancouver ein Optionsrecht gewährt wird. Die drei 3 vorwiegenden Zielzonen, die für die Probebohrung ausgewählt wurden, wurden von Arimex in einer am 24. August 2006 veröffentlichten Pressemitteilung vorgestellt. Die Bohrlöcher werden in einem Neigungswinkel von - 75 Grad angeordnet, ein Versuch, die Stratigraphie so senkrecht wie möglich zu schneiden, um möglichst genaue tektonische Daten zu erhalten. Das Geologenteam hofft, dass das Target auf Claim S-107560 ein Leiter in Verbindung mit einer parallelen Tektonik zur Hauptstörung von Key Lake ist. Das Bohrprogramm umfasst 3 Bohrlöcher à 150 Meter und wird von Cyr Drilling durchgeführt und es ist geplant, dass das 2- bis 3-wöchigige Programm von Arimex mit der Mobilisierung von Ausrüstung und Personal am 22. Januar 2007 beginnt. Das Key Lake Project besteht aus fünf Claims, die zwischen 5 und 23 Kilometer vom Key Lake Bergwerk, das bereits über 200 Millionen Pfund U3O8 vor seiner Schliessung im Jahr 1997 produziert hatte, entfernt liegen. KEY LAKE INITIAL THREE HOLE PROGRAM COMPLETED CREE WEST WORK CONTINUES
International Arimex Resources Inc. has completed a three-hole drill program on the Key Lake uranium project in the Athabasca basin of north-central Saskatchewan. Hole one was drilled to a depth of 191.1 metres; hole two, to a depth of 217.1 metres; and hole three, to a depth of 140.8 metres. Samples have been submitted for assaying and results will be released when they become available. The drilling was carried out by Cyr Drilling International, under the supervision of Canalaska Uranium Ltd. geologists, Stefan Lopatka and Ali H. Alizadeh.
Work is continuing on the Cree West uranium project also located in the Athabasca basin area of north-central Saskatchewan.
Phase one of the work program started Feb. 1, 2007, and initial TAMT (transient audio-frequency magneto-telluric) surveys were carried out on the southern claims which are mostly on the ice-covered lake. The northern claims are based on land, and lines are currently being cut or brushed in preparation for the TAMT survey.
Initial raw data from the southern claims have been sent for interpretation and the analysis will be announced upon completion.

Sollten die Ergebnisse rauskommen, und sie fallen Positiv aus und sei es nur 0,100%, dann werden wir früher oder später einen Anstieg auf 0,35-0,45CAD sehen!

INTERNATIONAL ARIMEX KEY LAKE DRILLING HAS SIGNIFICANT RESULTS
International Arimex Resources Inc. has received a report from Canalaska Uranium Ltd. detailing the results of the three-hole, 549-metre drill program, which was completed between Jan. 21, 2007, and Feb 11, 2007.
The program focused on testing the source and significance of a short 700-metre-long electromagnetic conductor identified in the 2006 geotech VTEM survey. This conductor parallels the Key Lake fault zone, which hosted most of mineralization at the Key Lake mine approximately 15 kilometres to the east-northeast.
Hole KEY 001 encountered 0.15 metre of 0.058 per cent U3O8 from 184.7 metres to 184.85 metres. Holes KEY002 and 003 encountered only anomalous uranium, with maximum values of 42 parts per million and 18 parts per million U respectively (100 parts per million U equals 0.012 per cent U3O8).
Though only minor uranium mineralization was encountered in these holes, the Key Lake drilling results are significant in the identification of a favourable graphitic horizon parallel and north of the Key Lake fault structure, cut by a major fault system with associated chlorite-hematite alteration. In addition, clay mineralogy has identified a transition from kaolinite (KEY 002 and 003) to illite in KEY 001, which is considered an indicator of uranium mineralization. Analysis of the structural information, the relation of the conductive trend with the cross-cutting magnetic trend, and additional investigation of the relationship of the major structure with the graphitic zone will be needed to better define the orientation of this major fault system. This should lead to the identification of potential targets areas for investigation. A program of detailed magnetic and electromagnetic surveys is planned to define the stratigraphic-structural relationships. This will be followed by a second drill program.!

Zur leichteren Übersicht wurden die Uran-Konzentrationen in die folgenden gewählten
Kategorien eingeteilt:
· sehr hoch (> 10%U): Zurzeit sind solche Konzentrationen nur von den Lagerstätten
McArthur River und Cigar Lake in Saskatchewan, Kanada, bekannt. Diese
Konzentrationen sind sogar zu hoch, um das Erz im konventionellen
Aufbereitungsprozess verarbeiten zu können. Deshalb mischt man die Erze zunächst
mit schwächeren Erzen, um einen Uran-Gehalt von etwa vier Prozent zu erhalten, der
dann für eine Aufbereitung geeignet ist. Die oben genannten Lagerstätten haben im
Übrigen nicht nur hohe Uran-Konzentrationen, sondern enthalten auch sehr große
Uran-Mengen. Früher waren solche hohen Uran-Gehalte nur von den berühmten
Erzen aus dem damaligen Belgisch-Kongo bekannt, die im längst erschöpften
Bergwerk Shinkolobwe abgebaut wurden.
· hoch (1% - 10%U): Nur sehr wenige Lagerstätten fallen in diesen Bereich, wie z.B.
McClean Lake und Midwest in Saskatchewan, Kanada.
· gut (0,2 - 1%U): Typische Lagerstätten in diesem Bereich sind Ranger und Jabiluka
in Australien, Arlit und Akouta in Niger, und Lagoa Real in Brasilien
· mäßig (0,1 – 0,2%U): Hunderte meist kleiner Lagerstätten in diesem Bereich waren
lange Zeit die Hauptquelle für Uran in den USA, bevor der Uran-Markt Anfang der
achtziger Jahre zusammenbrach: Einige davon werden in letzter Zeit nun wieder in
Betrieb genommen. Daneben gibt es eine ganze Reihe größerer Lagerstätten in diesem
Bereich in verschiedenen Teilen der Welt.
· Niedrig (< 0,1%U): Derzeit können Lagerstätten mit solchen niedrigen Uran-
Gehalten nur bei Vorliegen besonderer Umstände wirtschaftlich abgebaut werden, wie
z.B. einem riesigen Tagebaubetrieb im Falle von Rössing in Namibia. Oder es besteht
die Möglichkeit, wie bei den kasachischen Lagerstätten, im Lösungsbergbau-
Verfahren (in-situ leaching) zu arbeiten. Auch wenn Uran nur ein Nebenprodukt des
Bergbaus ist, wie bei Olympic Dam in Australien und bei den südafrikanischen
Lagerstätten, lohnt sich bei einem so geringen Uran-Gehalt der Abbau.
