Pan American Silver

Ich frage mich inzwischen, ob ich statt dieser Aktie nicht besser direkt in Silber investiert hätte....
Leider ist die Kursentwicklung (zumindest in den letzten Tagen) im Vergleich zum Silberpreis doch eher schwach.
Hat jemand dafür vielleicht eine plausible Erklärung, warum manche der "big Player" die Aufwärtsbewegung der Edelmetalle nur noch unterproportional mitmachen (so z.B. auch bei
Barrick Gold zu "bewundern") ?
Nur mit dem schwächelnden $ ist das doch nicht zu erklären...  

...wie diese Aktie heute im Ami-Land trotz verhältnismäßig guter Quartalsergebnisse nach unten manipuliert wird. Würde mich nicht wundern, wenn Kleinaktionäre mit Stopp-Loss rausgedrückt werden um Papiere billig einzusammeln die dann in einigen Tagen wieder abheben.

@Mannemer: Nur weil nicht immer alles gleich steigt, wie man es gerne hätte ist es keine Verschwörung und Marktmanipulation  :)
 

Wahrscheinlich sind die Herrschaften etwas spät eingestiegen. Die Mienen haben im Vergleich zum Edelmetall underperformed. Wer aber vor 4-6 Monaten eingestiegen ist, dem ist das erstmal egal. Wer im Gegensatz zu den Herrschaften Geduld hat, der wird viel Freude mit Pan American haben. Bei Platin scheint auch langsam ein Kaufsignal zu entstehen.  

...um keine Irritationen zu erwecken...Die underperformance war in den letzten beiden Wochen. Vorher konnte man sich wirklich nicht beschweren!  

auch die CVRs aus der Tahoe-Übernahme eingebucht? Bei mir im Depot sind die jetzt mit einemmBetrag versehen!?  

zum Kurs 0,6182 eingebucht bekommen.  

Die werden in Pan American Aktien getauscht wenn Escobal wieder produziert. Interessantes Umtauschverhältnis von ungefähr 1:20 Nach meiner Rechnung ist ein CVR momentan zum halben Preis zu kaufen, wenn man kaufen kann. Risiko das Escobal bis 2027 nicht wieder in Produktion geht, dann läuft der CVR aus.

Verbesserung der CVR hat eine Laufzeit bis Feb 2029, hoffen wir das Escobal in Kürze wieder produziert.

eine schöne Überraschung, am Freitag plötzlich ca. 6.000€ auf dem Depot.
Im Falle eines Umtausches würde ich für meine CVRs ca. 450 Aktien bekommen, Wert: ca.12.500€, also Doppelt so viel, wie der aktueller Wert der CVRs.

Die Frage ist natürlich, was mit der Escobar passiert, und wann überhaupt??? Wenn man davon ausginge, es wird rechtzeitig passieren, würde sich sehr lohnen extra CVRs bei dem aktuellen Kurs von 61-62€cent zu kaufen.

ich kann die weder kaufen noch verkaufen, da ‚kein Handelsplatz verfügbar‘.  

so wie ich das verstanden hab verfallen die optionen wertlos, wenn die mine nicht rechtzeitig produziert...

wäre mir zu gefährlich... hoffe trotzdem, dass meine teile noch getauscht werden.  

Du hast Recht wenn Escobal  Anfang 2029 nicht produziert gibt's nichts. Nur die Wahrscheinlichkeit spricht für eine Inbetriebnahme weit vorher. Arbeitsplätze und Steuern für den Staat, dürfte bei einer der weltgrößten Silbermine beträchtlich. sein. Risiko Enteignung gegeben, aber nicht hoch Guatemala macht sich doch für Investoren total uninteressant. Aber ja Risiko ist dabei sonst würden die in Kanada nicht zum halben Preis verkauft. Ein Hebel ist aber auch noch drin steigt Pan American, was es bei einer Wiedereröffnung ziemlich sicher tut steigt der CVR auch.  

bis 2029 ist noch genug Zeit die CVRs zu verkaufen ;-)

du musst einen Broker finden, der  dir den verkauf über den “OTC” betätigen kann! und deine bank muss erstmal diese Position an den transferieren.

Wenn die Mine wieder in Betrieb geht, sollte es mit demTausch hoffentlich keine Schwierigkeiten geben.

grundsätzlich schon interessant, aber halt auch schon über ein jahr alt...  

Wiederaufnahme der Escobal-Mine wäre mir lieber. Hatte hier dieses Jahr mit einem Ergebnis gerechnet. Heißt wohl weiter warten.  

Gibt es hierzu noch andere deutschsprachige Quellen?

die Escobal mal wieder öffnet, scheppert es hier richtig.
Und ich gehe davon aus, dass dies eintreten wird.

Der Kurs sollte eigentlich anspringen im Laufe der nächsten Wochen, zumal im Februar als kleines Zubrot wieder ein Dividende ansteht.

During 2020, Pan American repaid the remaining $275.0 million outstanding on its corporate credit facility and distributed $46.2 million in dividends to shareholders, with the quarterly dividend being increased twice during the year. As at December 31, 2020, Pan American had no bank debt, while the cash and short-term investment balances increased to approximately $279.1 million.
