Soleil Securities Previews Apple's MacWorld (AAPL)
Soleil Securities Group gave a preview of potential announcements Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) CEO, Steve Jobs could make at its much anticipated MacWorld event tomorrow.
The firm said it feels expectations for the Apple event, held in San Francisco, are currently relatively modest. Apple could release updated hardware sales numbers for its first quarter, as well as an announcement that the Company will enter the Japaense mobile market sometime in 2008. Soleil said its current Apple iPod sales forecast of 25.30 million iPods seems aggressive, while its Mac sales expectations of 2.12 million machines could be conservative.
