That's the essence of autoimmune disease—a person's immune system mistakenly attacks healthy cells in their body.
Betty Diamond, a physician and researcher, was born in Hartford, CT on 11 May 1948. She is Head of the Center for Autoimmune and Musculoskeletal Diseases at Northwell Health's Feinstein Institute for Medical Research in Manhasset, NY.

In spite of specific immune effector mechanisms raised against tumor cells, there are mechanisms employed by the tumor cells to keep them away from immune recognition and elimination; some of these mechanisms have been identified, while others are still poorly understood. Manipulation or augmentation of specific antitumor immune responses are now the preferred approaches for treatment of malignancies, and traditional therapeutic approaches are being replaced by the use of agents which potentiate immune effector mechanisms, broadly called "immunotherapy".

It's a song about the hopes, aspirations, and desperations of a person who is forced to cross the border in search of a better life for the loved ones left behind. This is an attempt to humanize refugees so as to remind ourselves that no human life is inferior to another because of their nationality, race, religion, class, or gender. Once we rid ourselves of all prejudice, then we can be truly free and see the criminal policies of our rulers for what they are. Studio versions of this song are in the works.

Du bist doch nicht der Lucifer. Du bist der Zivilisationsmüde, der ihn romantisiert, im Irrglauben gerade er wäre die Alternative. Der Romantisierung des Diabolischen entspricht dabei die De-Romantisierung des Zivilen. Bildungsbürger begeben sich öfter mit ihrem Sinnhunger auf diesen Weg, insbesondere dann wenn der eigenen Grandiosität draussen die gebührende Anerkennung vorenthalten wird. Für die 'Konservative Revolution' bleiben sie damit bedeutungsloses Ornament, mit dem die sich allerdings im Bedarfsfall auch mal gerne schmückt.
