CMC Metals Featured in Mining Journal, Bulk Sample Grading 5000+g/t Silver, Bishop Mill Upgrade, Cash Flow on Two Fronts
10/22/2010 2:02:17 AM - BSR

Oct 22, 2010 (ACCESSWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Mining MarketWatch Journal has published a review of CMC Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: CMB) (Pink Sheets: CMCXF) (Frankfurt: ZM5) offering insight and opportunity afforded investors as CMB.V is debt-free, unhedged and gearing up for cash-positive precious metals production on two separate business units. CMC Metals recently acquired a fully permitted mill in Bishop California central to a number of permitted gold, silver, and poly-metallic mines, many in negotiations at this time with CMC Metals to handle their ore. CMB.V will also be Canada's newest silver producer utilizing its 100% owned high grade Silver Hart silver mine in the Yukon where it has already begun bulk sampling with cash flow imminent.

The full Journal review may be found at http://miningmarketwatch.net/cmb.htm online.

CMC Metals Ltd. with less than 37M shares outstanding (~46M fully diluted) and trading under CDN$0.25 represents exceptional value and is poised for significant upside revaluation. CMB.V is debt-free, unhedged and gearing up for cash-positive precious metals production on two separate business units, both appear substantial in net profit generation potential in 2011.

100% owned Bishop Mill, Bishop CA USA, is a recently acquired fully permitted facility central to a number of permitted gold, silver, and poly-metallic mines, many in negotiations at this time with CMC Metals to have their ore processed at the Bishop facility. The Bishop facility has already begun upgrading by CMC Metals to 100-tonne-per-day (TPD) (upgradable to 300TPD) and is expected to be seriously cash flowing by mid-2011 with the completion of a class A double lined pond which will allow CMC Metals to process a wide range of ore types.

100% owned Silver Hart mine, Yukon Canada - With spectacular silver grades and a historic resource estimate (non 43-101) of 9 million ounces silver CMC Metals is in the permitting phase to bring Silver Hart into production. A prefabricated 80TPD mill (upgradeable to 300TPD with additional permitting and nominal improvements) is at 75% completion awaiting delivery once government approvals are received. In the interim CMC Metals is generating revenue and cash flowing Silver Hart by processing ore from open pit mining of high grade veins through a series of bulk samples. The first bulk sample (grading over 5000g/t silver) was mined this Q3 2010 and is in the process of vetting from buyers, Mining MarketWatch Journal estimates CMC Metals will net between US$500K - $700K from this first nominal 200 tonne bulk sample alone. This bulk sample sets the stage for a series of larger 2500 - 5000 tonne samples (of possibly 3,000-4,000g/t silver) in 2011 readily available to the company through a standard class 3 license. Mining MarketWatch Journal speculates that if all goes well, lucratively as planned, CMC Metals might simply let things be and continue on with the arrangement indefinitely (beyond bulk sampling), freeing up prefabricated mill to be use on a third front. According to historical data (not to be relied on for investment decisions, but rather to better understand the potential) the historical resource (non 43-101) at Silver Hart is ~9,000,000 oz of silver, 17.6M lb lead and 58.6M lb zinc in three zones, all of which are readily open for expansion. A realistic scenario could see the mill producing ~1,000,000+ ounces of silver per annum and cash flow expansion of the resource and other nearby silver projects without further dilution to the share structure.

Bishop Mill Permitting Update

Mar. 9, 2011 (TheNewswire.ca) --

Vancouver, B.C.: CMC Metals Ltd. (TSXV:CMB) (OOTC:CMCXF) (the "Company") is pleased to announce it has received confirmation from the Lahontan Water Board that the application submitted for installation of a Class A tailings pond design at the Bishop Mill facilities has been deemed complete. This will allow the Water Board to conduct the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) assessment and complete the approval review prior to forwarding recommendations for approval to the Lahontan Water Board. Based on feedback from the Lahontan Water Board assessor, the application should be ready for approval early June. There have been several delays due to information requests on hydrological characterization, installation of two additional monitoring wells and base water quality analysis. Once the approval has been completed, the Amended Plan of Operation submitted to the Bureau of Land Management can be reviewed for acceptance. During meetings with the BLM, it was stated that the Amended Plan of Operation should be ready for acceptance within a month after the Water Boards approval. Construction of the Class A pond will start immediately once the Plan of Operation has been accepted. Construction, mill upgrades and commissioning will occur during the months of July and August. We anticipate that the Bishop Mill facilities will have all approvals and be operating at full capacity within 6 months. The Bishop Mill is designed to process a wide range of ore sources and will have a capacity rating to process 100 tons per day. The Company is evaluating a number of offers that would dictate the start-up ore to be processed and will be reported soon. Current proposals being evaluated are more than double the mill rated capacity.

Final Payment received on 2010 Bulk Sample
4/27/2011 3:06 PM - NW

(via Thenewswire.ca)

Vancouver, B.C.: CMC Metals Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce it has received the final payment of US$215,000 on the bulk sample that was shipped from the Silver Hart site. Final payment was based on assays from the sampling of the shipment after the customer had crushed, dried and homogenized the ore. SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd. in China was contracted as a company representative to oversee the sampling process to ensure a representative sampling protocol was applied. Total tonnage was 130.8 dry weight tonnes grading 4568 grams per tonne silver (133.2 ounces per ton) and 19.60 percent lead. Total gross payment after contractual adjustments was US$445,000 (US$3,402.14 per dry weight tonne).

CMC is currently proposing to conduct a 2500 tonne bulk sample this year. Due to the larger size, several proposals from alternative customers for purchasing the 2500 tonne bulk sample are being reviewed with the idea of reducing the freight costs. Don Wedman, P.Eng., CEO and President commented that "The 2010 Silver Hart test sample was nothing less than a complete success. The economic viability of the Silver Hart project was demonstrated on a test small scale tonnage which has given the impetus to evaluate alternatives to accelerate the development." The 2011 bulk sample can be conducted under the current Class III exploration permit. Upon defining the end customer for the bulk sample, the Company will provide an update on the Silver Hart 2011 exploration season.

The Company further announces that it has granted up to 3,000,000 common shares pursuant to incentive stock options to certain of its directors and employees under the Company's Rolling Stock Option Plan, which Plan received shareholder approval at its last Annual General Meeting held June 25, 2010. The options will be granted for a two year period at the exercise price of $0.27 per share subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.

CMC Metals Ltd. Issues Silver Hart Exploration Update
6/7/2011 9:28:05 AM - NWC

Jun 07, 2011 (TheNewswire.ca via COMTEX News Network) --

(via Thenewswire.ca)

Vancouver, B.C.: CMC Metals Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce it has commenced the 2011 exploration program at the Silver Hart site. The goal for the program is to extract up to a 2500 tonne bulk sample, conduct a detailed geochem survey over one of the base geochem survey anomalies, and drill test the geochem anomaly. Last year the Company extracted a logistical 130.8 dry tonne bulk sample and received $445,000. The larger sample this year will be testing the viability to bulk mine the TM structure in preparation for submitting an extension to the Class III Exploration permit with on-going bulk sampling.

The geochem anomaly being tested shows a linear alignment and similar striking direction as the KL and M zones and is situated between these two mineralized structures. Last year several subcrop samples were collected that contained massive galena similar to the KL zone. Based on the preliminary data, the Company has determined that the area has a potential to host a mineralized structure. After completing the detail geochem survey, several shallow drill holes will be drilled to test the structure continuity and mineralization. The base geochem survey identified over 20 linear anomalies that can be tested for additional mineralized zones. As the Company moves forward with bulk samples, the exploration of the geochem anomalies will assist in developing new zones that can support the depletion of resources from the TM surface mine.

During the 2011 exploration season in the Yukon, the Company will also be conducting a Class I exploration investigation of the Logjam property. A baseline recon investigation and sampling in the two adits will be performed to collect sufficient data to develop a multiple year exploration program. The data will also support the development of a Class III Exploration application. The Logjam property is 80 km to the southwest of the Silver Hart property and boarders the to the Logtung deposit.

Vancouver, B.C.: CMC Metals Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce the Water License for the Bishop mill facilities was issued on July 13, 2011, upon receipt of confirmation that the application to construct a new Class A tailing pond had been uncontested. Construction of the tailings pond and shipment of ore from one of the available sources will start once the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has reviewed and accepted the amended Plan of Operations.

The Company is confident that the facilities will be fully commissioned and operational during the last quarter of the year. Don Wedman, P.Eng., CEO and President of the Company commented that "It truly is a remarkable accomplishment bringing the Bishop mill back into production. It is an example of the California State Departments, Water Board, Inyo County, and BLM all working towards the goal of developing a facility that is environmentally, socially, and financially viable. The Bishop mill facilities will be an important asset generating cash flow and profits for our shareholders." In anticipation of the facility being ready to process ore within the next three months, three ore sources will be metalurgically tested to characterize the ore and optimize the mineral recovery. The start up ore will be based on the most economic alternative. A news release will follow once the start up ore has been selected.

(via Thenewswire.ca)

Vancouver, B.C.: CMC Metals Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the 2011 bulk sample ore started to be trucked from the site today. The goal for 2011 is to extract 2500 tonnes of direct ship ore. To date an estimated 589 tonnes (S.G. 3.0) have been excavated over the last two weeks. The ore is now being trucked off the site for further processing to shipment specifications. Preliminary testing of the stockpiled ore demonstrated a grade exceeding 3000 grams per tonne based on a mean value of 12 random samples. The direct shipment extraction will continue over the next 6 weeks. Once the ore has been crushed, a representative sample will be assayed and reported. The Company is reviewing purchase proposals and will report when the purchase contracts have been signed.

The geochem survey for the 2011 exploration program has now been completed. Samples are being prepared for assays and the results will be analyzed for potential anomalies. The results should be ready within four weeks. Based on the analysis, shallow drilling may proceed to delineate any potential mineralized zones.
