U.S. Wireless Technology Cited by Nation's Largest Carriers As
Potential Solution for Meeting Phase II of the FCC's E-911 Mandate

SAN RAMON, Calif., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Wireless Corp. (Nasdaq: USWC; Frankfurt: USP) said today that nationwide carriers
Verizon, Cingular and AT&T, as well as Western Wireless and others, serving a combined 58 million subscribers and covering more than 90% of
the total population cited U.S. Wireless or its multipath pattern matching technology as a potential solution for meeting the Federal
Communications Commission's wireless Enhanced 911 (E-911) Phase II Automatic Location Identification requirements.

Phase II Wireless E-911 caller location technologies are expected to dramatically enhance the safety of the more than 100 million people owning
wireless telephones in the United States today. To accelerate its deployment, the FCC has required that all wireless carriers implement Phase II
location technologies beginning October 2001. The FCC's E-911 mandate required carriers to choose a network-based or handset-based
approach to comply with its guidelines and to file reports outlining their technology plans with the FCC on or before November 9, 2000. A review
of publicly available carrier filings on the FCC's website as of Friday, indicated the largest of the nation's wireless carriers were planning to
implement network-based solutions to comply with Phase II of the FCC's E-911 requirements.

Oliver Hilsenrath, Chairman and CEO of U.S. Wireless said, ``The wireless industry has taken another important step toward large scale
deployment of automatic location technology and we are extremely pleased by the carriers' assessment of our RadioCamera(TM) location
technology. With network-based solutions like our RadioCamera(TM) system, cellular customers needn't worry about purchasing expensive new
phones to benefit from life-saving emergency caller location services. Over the course of the coming year, we will continue to work closely with
carriers to support their efforts to meet the FCC mandate, as well as to enable new mobile Internet and mobility-commerce services that also rely
on location to enhance their subscriber's mobile experience.''

U.S. Wireless also noted that it has filed exparte comments with the FCC in support of carriers wishing to deploy its RadioCamera(TM) network
solution for meeting the FCC's wireless E-911 Phase II Automatic Location Identification requirements.
