STERLING RESOURCES ANNOUNCES FIRST QUARTER OPERATING AND FINANCIAL RESULTS

Sterling Resources Ltd. has released interim operating and financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2014. (Unless otherwise noted, all figures contained in this report are denominated in U.S. dollars.)

For the three months ended March 31, 2014, the company recorded net income of $167.6-million (54 cents per share) compared with a net loss of $8.8-million (four cents per share) for the three months ended March 31, 2013.
