Toshiba Selects InfoSpace Merchant Services and Commerce Platform to Power Expanding Small Business Network
BELLEVUE, Wash., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- InfoSpace (Nasdaq: INSP - news), a leading global provider of cross-platform merchant and consumer infrastructure services on wireless, broadband, and narrowband platforms, today announced that Toshiba, the world's leading vendor for portable computers, has selected InfoSpace's merchant services technology platform to power its Internet hosting and commerce services for its customer network of hundreds of thousands of small- and medium-sized businesses.

Furthermore, the service includes the HyperMart Web storefront and shopping cart creation tools which enable small business to build a customized, professional-looking commerce Web site. Payment services, including a merchant account and payment gateway powered by InfoSpace's payment processing platform, are conveniently integrated into the service, helping merchants set up shop and process transactions on the Internet quickly and easily.
