Stans Energy Hires New CFO Stans Energy Corp (TSX-V: HRE, OTCQX: HREEF)(‘Stans’ or ‘The Company’) is pleased to announce that Anna Kuranova, CGA, has been hired as the new Chief Financial Officer for the company.
Mrs. Kuranova has extensive financial reporting experience with progressively senior positions at both High River Gold and Kinross Gold. Mrs. Kuranova will be replacing Lena Masters whose resignation became effective on March 7, 2012. Ms. Masters will be moving on to another opportunity.
“We are extremely pleased that Anna has decided to join Stans and her experience in operational positions at producing mines in Russia will assist the company as we move forward with our plans to resume production at our flagship Heavy Rare Earth property Kutessay II. Mrs. Kuranova will be granted 300,000 options as approved by the board of directors on March 7, 2012. These incentive stock options are exercisable into one common share of the company at $0.94 until March 7, 2017. All options granted and any common shares issued on the exercise of the options will be subject to a statutory four-month hold period expiring July 7, 2012. The option grant is subject to regulatory approval.
das soll ja auch eine Belohnung sein! Damit sich die Person auch anstrengt. Das MM spielt sich die Bälle immer zu, normal. Wichtig ist es eher, das die Option auf Wandlung bei 0,940 liegt und dem jetzigen Kursniveau entspricht. Das MM hätte die auch für 0,600 verschenken können.
Ich werte es als Stühle rücken, bevor es losgeht. Ob nun persönliche Gründe oder arbeits-klimatische ... die neue CFO-Besetzung macht aufgrund Ihrer Vita keinen schlechteren Eindruck. Kinross Gold etc. sind ja nicht irgendwelche kleinen Fische, das russische Geschäftsgebaren scheint Anna Kuranova zudem nicht fremd. Lieber jetzt im Vorfeld einen Personalwechsel, als im Verlauf der nächsten Quartale. Somit kann es eigentlich losgehen, denn mit ihrer Vorkenntnis braucht sie sicherlich keine lange Einarbeitungszeit. Meine Meinung. Gruß, mad.

"Reading between the lines" ... Perhaps the reason behind not lowering export quotas was so that they could introduce this new allocation system between lights and heavies. The implications behind this move far outweigh any potential cut in quotas (since we likely wouldn’t have used all of the quotas anyways) and signal a huge shift in protecting what is truly strategic.
Auto manufacturers should take special note of this change as it can dramatically affect them. Other elements that use up HREE quotas need to be studied in order to ascertain their impact on HREE quotas. As always, we will be working with auto manufacturers and their magnet suppliers to talk about the changing markets and how to best protect themselves. It boggles my mind why an auto manufacturer would take the risk of not securing their HREE supply. Procurement of critical materials isn’t just something that ‘should be done’; it’s now seen as a competitive advantage which makes the study of rare earths extremely important. A decade of work and hundreds of millions could be spent on developing a new hybrid car; however if they cannot procure the material needed to make that car, then all is lost. Those companies that have the material will be able to dominate the market.
One thing is certain: the split between LREE and HREE’s is not a good thing for HREE consumers. The danger might not be imminent but the ‘writing is on the wall. Informativ, Deine Kirgistan-Info. Sollten wir mit Stans tatsächlich das große Los gezogen haben, so schlage ich vor, dass eine Reise nach Kirgistan zum Pflichtprogramm wird und vor Ort mit dem populärsten Getränk der ländlichen kirgisischen Familie anstossen wird. Es heisst Ťkymysť und ist gegorene Stutenmilch. Nachdem die Stuten gemolken sind, wird diese Milch in einen geräucherten Ledersack gegossen und mit einem speziellen Stock, dem Ťbischkekť gerührt. Na denn "prost".
