Aber das ist Schnee von gestern, das Managment ist ausgewechselt und der Countdown läuft für den 6.10.2010:

"...CAD have ZERO DEBT, are PROFITABLE, have CASH of £26.4m (27/08/10) along with a minimum of $37.5m DUE IMMINENTLY as well are already producing "approx 500 boepd"...with several of its farmed-out geological assets not even included in any of the recent valuations !
At todays close of 20.75/21.00 they are still trading at just half of their 39.1p NAV value alone and even when they reach 39.1p it still means THE WHOLE BUSINESS IS VALUED AT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !
Its no wonder that the Nasd100 has them rated as a STRONG BUY !!..."

aber das kann Frankfurt noch viel besser 0,205 zu 0,259 EUR (26,24%)
Bleibt die Frage: bis Mittwoch die Entscheidung abwarten oder im Vorfeld selbst mit Aufschlag günstig zufassen ?

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Oil and gas explorer Cadogan Petroleum has had last month’s settlement of a long-running dispute with Ukraine formally approved by the courts there.
The Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine rubber stamped the terms of the settlement agreement announced in September with state-owned NSJC Nadra Ukraine and its subsidiary Poltavanaftogazgeology (PNGG).

"The approval of this agreement by the court confirms full support for settlement of all currently outstanding matters with respect to Cadogan's licenses,” said chief executive Ian Baron.

Last month, Cadogan agreed to withdraw its claim for damages against Nadra with regard to the initial licence challenge in July 2008, and buy five wells at Zagoryanska from Nadra for $3.2m.
This includes the Zagoryanska 3 well, which Cadogan currently rents from Nadra. It went into commercial production on 1 August and continues to produce gas and condensate at rates of approximately 50,000 and 15 cubic meters per day respectively.

Da frag ich mich doch beim Blick auf den Chart, wie hoch Cadogan wohl wieder aufgebaut wird - am Geld solls nicht scheitern, entspricht der derzeitigen Marktkapitalisierung. Dank an die Erstzeichner vor 2 Jahren zu 230 GBp...

-The new management team has continued to make substantial progress in addressing the organizational, technical, legal and financial issues that have faced the Group.

-At Pokrovskoe 1 drilling continues and the well is now past the 5,200 meters point on the way to a targeted total depth of 5,800 meters.

-The well is being directionally drilled to test the high point of a structural closure mapped at the Lower Visean, V26 horizon on the 3D seismic.

-The program to drill a further three wells on the shallow Debeslavtska gas field is underway, with the second well currently being drilled.

-Production from all three proposed sites is not expected to occur until 1Q of 2011 following testing, completion and hook up of the wells to the existing gas processing and compression facilities.

-The 2D seismic acquisition program on the Bitlyanska license has been concluded on budget and on schedule, and the data acquired is currently being processed.

-The quality of data, which was acquired by a local contractor supervised by Cadogan staff, appears to be excellent.

-Discussions over the farm-out of the Bitlyanska license continue with three interested parties and the recently acquired 2D seismic is expected to contribute significant value to this effort.

-The three eastern Ukrainian licenses have been withdrawn from the farm-out program in view of the discovery and production at Zagoryanska, the deepening of the Pokrovskoe - 1 well and the plans to test the Pirkovskoe - 1 well.

-Cadogan's cash balance is GBP24.4 million ($39.0 million).

-The average monthly cash outflow from operating and investing activities remains at GBP0.5 million ($0.8 million).

-These amounts do not include: GBP2.2 million ($3.5 million) of VAT redeemed as bonds for net cash receipts of GBP1.8 million ($2.9 million); income from the litigation of GBP0.28 million ($0.45 million); or litigation costs incurred during the period of GBP0.9 million ($1.5 million).

-The Group continues its action in the High Court of England and Wales against certain of its former officers and various related parties.

-Settlement agreements have been entered into with two minor parties during the period under review and a further $450,000 has been received by Cadogan.

-At the date of this statement the Group expects to receive a payment from Global Process Systems of $6.5 million, the next installment of the remaining $36.5 million due to Cadogan under the settlement agreement previously entered into.

-Shares closed Thursday at 19.0 pence.

Cadogan Petroleum (LON:CAD) plc (CAD, 50p,  5.9%) announced that it has reached agreement with Eni S.p.A ("Eni") for the acquisition of an interest in the Company's Pokrovskoe and Zagoryanska licences in the east of Ukraine. Eni will initially acquire a 30% interest in the Pokrovskoe licence, with the option to acquire a further 30% interest in the future. Eni will also acquire a 60% interest in the Zagoryanska licence. The initial consideration will comprise 100% funding of a work programme of approximately $30 million (excluding VAT), including drilling and seismic re-processing, plus a $38 million payment. Subject to successful results from the above programmes and award of production licences, Eni will pay the Company further amounts of up to $90 million....
