Ich habe diese Aktie (Tobii AB - A111E5) entdeckt und finde sie sehr interssant!
Das Unternehmen bewegt sich m.E. nach in einem großen Zukunftsmarkt.

Ich habe die letzten Tage mal ein paar Stück eingesammelt.

Hat schon jemand Erfahrung mit der Aktie?
Kann jemand den Markt, in dem sich das Unternehmen bewegt, adäquat beurteilen?

Ich freue mich auf eine Diskussion, ohne "gebashe"!

Das Thema Eye-Tracking ist immer mehr im kommen!  

Da ist Dampf unterm Deckel ;-)

Regulatory News:

Tobii AB today reported its results for the second quarter and first six months 2016. The Group presented stable sales and large investments in product and market development in all three business units.

April June

The Group's sales totaled SEK 241 million (222), an increase of 8%. Adjusted for currency effects, the increase was 12%.

Gross margin was 73% (76%).

The Group's operating loss amounted to SEK -29 million (-17).

The combined operating profit from Tobii Dynavox and Tobii Pro totaled SEK 23 million (23) while investments in Tobii Tech impacted the Group's earnings by SEK -52 million (-39).

Earnings per share was SEK -0.18 (-0.13).

January June

The Group's sales totaled SEK 493 million (452), an increase of 9%. Adjusted for currency effects, the increase was 11%.

Gross margin was 73% (75%).

The Group's operating loss amounted to SEK -46 million (-24).

The combined operating profit from Tobii Dynavox and Tobii Pro totaled SEK 55 million (56) while investments in Tobii Tech impacted the Group's earnings by SEK -101 million (-80). Earnings per share was SEK -0.47 (-0.13).

Events during the second quarter

Tobii Tech started delivering the IS4 platform to Tobii Dynavox, which launched several eye-controlled products upgraded with the new platform.

Heli Arantola and Jan Wäreby were elected as new members of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting held on May 11.

Einstiegskurse jetzt ?
Sektor finde ich auch spannend ..wenn gleich ich das Unternehmen damals zu klein fand ..vielleicht für ne Übernahme interessant von einem Großen ....die sich den Markt dann aufteilen ....nur wann sticht diese Story / Sektor in den Massenmarkt ..bisl . wie 3D Druck ...nur mE noch im Anfangsstadion ....

Seit der Empfehlung kam erstmal nichts mehr. Es war auch mehr eine Watchlist Empfehlung.

Der Kurs ist die letzten Tage gut angezogen. Das Thema finde ich sehr gut und ich kann mir auch nicht vorstellen, dass wir noch lange mit der Maus und  Tastatur rumdaddeln werden. Die Interaktion mit dem Computer sollte ohne solche Hilfsmittel auskommen. Für den Kurs ist aber nur interessant wann das Thema gehypt wird. Da sind langfristige Notwendigkeiten egal.  

war ja quasi tot seit meinem Einstieg, denke wir haben hier einen big player für die Zukunft im Depot :)

Nach signifikantem Verlassen der Seitwärtsphase habe ich die erste Position gekauft. Auf der CES kamen positive Berichte auch von den Gamern. Das Thema wird sich weiterentwickeln. Eye Tracking in Zusammenarbeit mit Sprachsteuerung und Gesten wird die Zukunft der Bedienung vom Computern sein.

Bleibt halt die Frage ob wir mit Tobii auf das richtige Pferd setzen. Im Mainstream ist das Thema absolut noch nicht angekommen. Das ist schonmal schön. Bleibt zu hoffen das nicht einer der Techriesen das Rennen macht. Zuzeit wird ja eng mit Microsoft und Qualcomm kooperiert.

Der Börsenpunk hat das erste Mal von Tobii Kenntnis genommen. Da kommt Freude auf. Vielleciht nehmen sie sich dem Thema an und man kommt schneller an Informationen.

Das gab zumindest heute einen ordentlichen Schub. Eye Tracking steht ganz am Anfang.  

Ich war übers WE in Prag. Im Keller vom Hamley's ( Spielzeug Geschäft ) gibt es eine VR Area. Mit einem Computer im Rucksack und einer VR Brille spielt man ein Rollenspiel. Ich hätte niemals gedacht, dass die Technik schon so weit ist. Der absolute Wahnsinn.

Ob Tobii seinen Teil dazu beigetragen hat weiß ich nicht. Aber ich bin mehr und mehr von den VR Möglichkeiten überzeugt.
