Here are the May 20th court agenda interpreted and as posted on the Yahoo Board:
May 20 Agenda Items—Short Version 18-May-09 09:12 pm
Quick recap, as I read it [caveat--no legal background].
Presuming the $4.4 billion bank deposit is included under Item 9, WMI’s complaint for “Turnover of Estate Property,” since that's the terminology they used in their complaint. Status on that item doesn't list “hearing will go forward,” as it does on others. Instead it says WMI has asked for permission to address the court on May 20.
Hearing Not Going Forward on:
---------------------------------
1—Three named individuals in re class action vs WMI, scheduled for Aug 24, 09 hearing [names, see link]
2—Retention of Quinn-Emmanuel, no objections, so no hearing necessary
3—Motion extending WMI’s exclusivity period for Reorg plan; no objections so no hearing necessary
Hearing Going Forward on:
----------------------------
4—Authorization to employ Elliott Greenleaf DE special litigation; no objections
5—WMI insurance policies, distribution of proceeds, termination of revocable grantor trust
6—MSG Media [Madison Square Garden] re termination of naming rights and sponsorship agreement [WMI has sponsorship that calls for WaMu's name to be used, on a theater, I believe].
7—Re WMI motion on rule 2004, Examination of JPMC; JPMC’s objection, WMI’s objection in response, etc.
9—Complaint for turnover of estate property filed by WMI and motion to intervene filed by Unsecured Creditors. Instead of stating “hearing will go forward,” it says, “Briefing with respect to this matter is complete. The Movant requests that it be permitted to address the Court regarding this matter at file status conference scheduled for May 20, 09.”
Adversary Pre-Trial Conference Going Forward on:
--------------------------------------------------
8—JPMC complaint re examination of JPMC and enlarging time for asserting counterclaims vs. JPMC; pretrial conference will go forward; "all parties will seek to address the Court, including with respect to proposed discovery scheduling."
