In der Zwischenzeit habe ich das Portal um den Claim komplett ausgefüllt und jede Menge Zeugs hochgeladen. Ohne Erfolg. Ich habe den Eindruck das Problem ist, dass die mich in keiner Datenbank von ihnen finden.
Dann hab ich eine Mail an XBT geschrieben und gefragt wie es den nun weiter geht. Als Antwort habe ich Folgendes bekommen:
Thank you for your email. We are currently working with custodians for the distribution of Bitcoin Cash proceeds and will have an update on this very shortly. In the meantime please see our official response below:
We regret that we have not been able to locate your name (or the name of your investment vehicle) on the register of Certificate holders as at the relevant date. Unfortunately, we are only able to make a distribution to persons whose names have been matched to the register.
A possible reason for our not being able to identify your details on the register may be because your assets were then held by a local custodian acting for your broker. Indeed, many of the names appearing on the register are of agents (who, acting on behalf of their underlying customers, initially placed the investment in the issuer’s Certificates). As a result of that fact, we have been working closely with the corporate action departments of some the larger agents which we have identified on the register in order to put in place arrangements pursuant to which we would be able to make a payment to the relevant agent who, in turn, would have committed to processing such payments onwards to their underlying customers.
Please note that arrangements of the foregoing type are very unusual and the successful negotiation of the same is in no small part due to the goodwill shown by those agents. We are confident that the processes which we have (and are) putting in place, of the sort described above, will greatly assist to ensure that payment to the relevant Certificate holders is as seamless as possible.
We will provide an update in connection with our progress on the foregoing and will therein include details of the simplified claim process which may be used once such agreements with the relevant agents have been finalised.
