Neue Köpfe für neue Ziele
Dr. Syed Mubeen, seit Januar 2022 wissenschaftlicher Leiter, steigt zum Technologievorstand (CTO) auf. Seine Kernaufgabe: Die Technologie aus dem Entwicklungsstadium in die Massenfertigung und Kommerzialisierung zu überführen. Er soll Produktdesign und Produktionseffizienz optimieren. Gleichzeitig kommt Hans-Peter Klein als neuer Business Operations Director an Bord. Er soll das operative Geschäft leiten, die Entwicklung einer Pilotanlage überwachen und strategische Kundenbeziehungen knüpfen.
Ein Abschied im Management
Fast zeitgleich mit den Neubesetzungen verließ Chief Operating Officer Woosuk Kim das Unternehmen zum 11. April. Kim war in den vergangenen Jahren maßgeblich am Abschluss wichtiger Verträge mit Lieferanten, Partnern und Investoren beteiligt.

Was steckt hinter diesem Umbau? SunHydrogen richtet den Fokus klar auf die Kommerzialisierung. Das Unternehmen arbeitet daran, seine Wasserstoff-Technologie hochzuskalieren.
Geplant ist eine Vergrößerung der Modulgrößen von 1.200 cm² auf 1,92 m².
Dies entspricht Standardmaßen im Photovoltaik-Bereich und soll die Integration erleichtern.
Ein wichtiger Meilenstein wurde erst im März erreicht: In Japan konnte erfolgreich ein 1,2 m² großes Modul demonstriert werden. The Opportunity
As Communications Director, you will lead all strategic and creative communications for SunHydrogen. From writing press releases to producing investor-facing content, from overseeing website messaging to managing our image at global exhibitions — this role is about shaping how the world sees us.
You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with leadership to drive narrative, strengthen brand identity, and build trust across stakeholders, shareholders, and the cleantech community.
This role will also manage relationships with outside vendors and contractors across public relations, social media, and creative services — ensuring that all external deliverables align with SunHydrogen’s voice and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Brand Leadership
Develop and lead a unified communications strategy that supports company milestones, investor engagement, and media relations.
Define key brand messaging and ensure consistency across all platforms and materials.
Support CEO and leadership team with executive communications and strategic narrative building.
Public Relations & Media Outreach
Write and distribute high-impact press releases that communicate complex innovations with clarity.
Build relationships with energy, tech, and financial media outlets to secure coverage.
Oversee third-party PR agencies and freelance publicists, ensuring message consistency and timely execution.
Manage interview preparation, media kits, and crisis communications when necessary.
Digital Presence & Social Engagement
Oversee and evolve our website design and content to reflect innovation and investor appeal.
Develop and execute social media campaigns that inform, engage, and inspire shareholders and cleantech advocates.
Manage external social media firms or consultants to execute campaigns and track performance.
Monitor engagement metrics and adapt strategy based on insights.
Content & Video Production
Script, produce, and direct videos for product updates, investor relations, and social storytelling.
Create compelling visuals, decks, and branded content to support messaging across channels.
Coordinate with outsourced video production, design, and branding professionals as needed.
Event & Exhibition Messaging
Lead communication planning for industry exhibitions and conferences.
Oversee booth content, design messaging, team prep, and brand representation at events.
Ensure consistency across all externally produced materials, signage, and digital displays.
Internal Engagement
Promote a communications-aware culture across departments.
Encourage team input and collaboration around storytelling opportunities.
Host internal briefings or brainstorming sessions to align messaging.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of experience in corporate communications, cleantech PR, or science/tech storytelling.
Outstanding writing and editing skills, especially for press releases and investor communications.
Experience managing external vendors across PR, social media, and creative/design services.
Proficiency in video production and direction for business or scientific content.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, website content management, and social media.
Track record of managing media relations and shaping public perception.
Experience working with investor or public company audiences is highly preferred.
Passion for renewable energy, innovation, and the mission of a sustainable future.
Bonus Points For
Background in hydrogen, energy tech, or climate communications.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, or social media tools like Buffer or Hootsuite.
Experience with SEC/regulatory communications or OTC company guidelines.
