(TSX VENTURE:AXI)
(FRANKFURT:AE6)
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 17, 2012) - Advanced Explorations Inc. (the "Company" or "AEI") is pleased to announce two National Instrument (NI) 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimates for its Roche Bay Iron Project located on the east coast of the Melville Peninsula in Nunavut, Canada. As part of the ongoing feasibility study on the project's C-Zone, an updated resource estimate reported the following results:
The resource estimate now includes 501 million tonnes in the Indicated category averaging 26.35% total iron (25.67 % magnetic iron) at a 20% iron cut-off grade.
A further 66 million tonnes averaging 26.37% total iron (25.72 % magnetic iron) at a 20% iron cut-off remains in the Inferred category.
In comparison to the previous resource estimate (as press released April 06, 2011) the Indicated resource has increased by approximately 55%.
The C-Zone resource upgrade is a result of additional diamond drilling from the 2011 field season and recently completed Davis Tube test work. Since 2007, a total of 95 NQ diameter (47.7 mm) diamond drill holes totaling over 27,000 metres has been drilled in order to define the 4,500 metre long C-Zone Banded Iron Formation.
John Gingerich, President and CEO, commented:
"AEI succeeded in its objective to upgrade the majority of the Inferred resources from the C-Zone into the Indicated category as a basis for sufficient modeling in the feasibility study. Furthermore, the Company has increased its entire NI 43-101 resource base to over one billion tonnes on the Melville Peninsula with its recent inferred resource estimate on the Tuktu Project of 465 million tonnes (see news releases dated November 28, 2011 and January 13, 2011), and today's announcement of 501 million tonnes of Indicated and 66 million tonnes of Inferred resources at the Roche Bay Iron Project. Over 80% of the region's banded iron formation remains untested, and we are excited about the future potential of increasing the resource base".

As press released November 28th and July 25th, 2011, the Company also wishes to announce an initial resource estimate on the Roche Bay Project's A/B Zone:
The initial resource estimate for the A/B Zone is 92 million tonnes in the Inferred category averaging 24.64% total iron at a 20% iron cut-off grade.
The A/B Zone is located approximately 5 kilometres to the north east of C-Zone and is part of the same Banded Iron Formation.
The area included in the Inferred resource represents only a small portion of the actual A/B Zone magnetic footprint.
Drill holes used in this Inferred estimate were part of the 2008 drill campaign and historical holes drilled in 1982 by Borealis Exploration.
"We are very pleased to have been able to include the A/B Zone Inferred resource in our Roche Bay resource update," commented John Gingerich, President and CEO. "Despite limited historical information, we were able to use two recent drill holes along with a number of historical holes to convert a small portion of the historical A/B Zone resource into an NI 43-101 compliant inferred resource.
This is a very important initial step toward developing a viable business model for the A/B Zone as an early start-up option, in parallel to the C Zone development phase. Metallurgical tests indicate this resource beneficiates to a high quality concentrate or to a lower grade (>50% Fe) coarse dry concentrate as part of our overall business strategy for the Roche Bay Project. These scenarios provide additional potential flexibility to advance the project and to add value to all stages of its development".

Note: magnetic iron and other elements reported for the C-Zone resource estimate have not been included in the A/B-Zone resource estimate since sampling results in 1982 did not include these elements.
Golder Associates Ltd. (Golder) completed the C-Zone mineral resource update and the A/B- Zone initial resource estimate. The mineral resource update and tonnage increase of Inferred to Indicated for the C-Zone is supported by the 2011 drilling, additional Davis Tube test results completed by AEI in 2011, and the strong correlation between Satamagan and Davis Tube test results for estimating magnetic iron from total iron. The same modeling methodology (unfolding, ordinary kriging) and parameters (search volumes, variogram ranges) were used as for the May 2011 NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate.
The A/B-Zone Inferred initial resource estimate is based on 15 drill holes from 1982 and 2 drill holes in 2008. The same modeling methodology and parameters were used as for the C-Zone, based on the proximity to C-Zone and the same mineralization host, style and orientation.
The updated mineral resource was completed by Mr. Greg Greenough, P.Geo., a qualified person for Golder, who has provided written permission for the release of this updated mineral resource estimate in the form and context in which it is provided here. The Company will file an updated NI 43-101 technical report within 45 days in regard of its updated mineral resource estimate.

"John Gingerich, President & CEO, commented:
"We are very pleased with the diligent efforts of our partner to work
through the approval process in China and bringing this financing to a
close. Our focus remains on completing the feasibility study for our

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 19, 2012) - Advanced Explorations Inc. (TSX VENTURE:AXI)(FRANKFURT:AE6) (the "Company" or "AEI") announces today that it will play a role in advancing Canada's newest and most exciting Nickel-copper district. The discovery of significant Nickel-Copper and Copper-Silver-Gold mineralization on the western side of the Melville Peninsula was announced in late 2011 (See Press Release dated 25 November, 2011). A minimum of five zones of nickel-copper mineralization were identified, with better assay values of 0.86% Ni, 0.59% Cu, 0.04% Co and 0.40% Ni, 0.19% Cu, 0.04% Co, and one zone of high grade copper-silver-gold mineralization returned assays of 1.93% Cu, 33 g/t Ag, 0.35 g/t Au and 1.06% Cu, 18.8 g/t Ag, 0.14 g/t Au.
The copper-nickel mineralization discovered is similar to a high grade (8% Ni) nickel discovery reported by the Geological Survey of Canada at Adamson River and, although at early stages of exploration, importantly highlights the potential discovery of a new nickel province, similar to the Thompson Nickel District, Manitoba, Raglan Belt in northern Quebec, the Abitibi Belt in eastern Ontario/western Quebec or the Kambalda Nickel District in Western Australia.
Advanced Explorations has staked approximately 203,000 acres to include the areas of mineralization discovered by the Company and favourable mafic-ultramafic rocks which typically host magmatic nickel-copper sulphide deposits.
John Gingerich, President & CEO commented:
"Seldom do junior exploration companies have an opportunity to participate in the discovery of a new mineral province; we believe the nickel-copper discoveries on the western Melville Peninsula represent the first significant nickel discovery in Canada since Voisey's Bay and are very excited about the potential to discover world class nickel-copper orebodies. The Company has a significant land position, have an experienced team and are well positioned to pursue this opportunity while maintaining our focus on the development of our iron projects."
The western Melville Peninsula is remote; however, future development of the Company's iron deposits at Roche Bay and Tuktu and establishment of a deep-water port on the eastern side of the Melville Peninsula will provide an excellent logistical base and operational hub for development of any nickel-copper resources delineated.
The Company is planning a two phase integrated exploration program in 2012, comprising an initial program of airborne geophysics, prospecting, geological mapping and sampling followed by phase two hyperspectral airborne mapping and diamond drilling to test high priority targets.
An experienced senior nickel geologist, Dr Ron Scott, has been chosen to lead the "Anik Project", as the Company's nickel-copper properties will now be known. Preparations are nearing completion for a phase 1, 12,000km VTEM airborne geophysical survey to commence early-mid April; this survey will be flown, in part, on a cost sharing basis with one of the world's dominant nickel producers who also has some interests in the area. Recruitment of the geological team who will complete evaluation of the known nickel-copper target areas and new anomalies defined by the airborne geophysical survey is also near completion. It is anticipated that the field crew will mobilize to the project area mid-June and drilling will commence mid-July.

TORONTO, ONTARIO - (Marketwire - 19.

Folgender Artikel unterstützt die These:
Opportunities at Our Doorstep
Mineral Development
The Mine/Mill complex in Voisey's Bay owned by Vale Inco is 356 air kilometers north of Happy Valley-Goose Bay. The deposit, one of the highest grade ore bodies in the world, contains an estimated 150 million tonnes of nickel/copper bearing ore.
Happy Valley-Goose Bay is ideally situated as a pick-up and supply point and as a supplier of accommodation for the fly in operation. The Environmental Impact Statement prepared for the proposed Mine/Mill Complex by Voisey's Bay Nickel Company projects substantial positive benefits for Happy Valley-Goose Bay:
"Business effects are expected to be felt strongest in the Upper Lake Melville area... expecting to cause immigration of businesses ... the Upper Lake Melville region will receive about 27% of the economic activity, the majority of which will be felt in Happy Valley-Goose Bay..".
In addition, Labrador has vast areas of unexplored territory and the Town is well positioned to be a logistics and supply centre for continued mineral exploration.
