Established in 1958, Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village is a senior’s community, known locally as "the Village." This bright, modern complex is located amid the renowned amenities of the Niagara region, on 15 manicured acres, overlooking the parklands of Walkers Creek valley and Lake Ontario.
“With this new warm water rehabilitation facility we are in a position to effectively serve communities in the entire Niagara peninsula,” stated Dieter Doederlein, Vice President of Corporate Development.
“AquaSonix Therapy is a natural complement to pharmacologic agents," added Dr. David Venturi, HealthSonix’ Medical Director. "Low impact, muscle-strengthening exercises are the cornerstone of the overall management of the patients suffering with the pain of osteoarthritis.”
The AquaSonix Therapy programs are now available not only to the hospital patients and the “village” residents, but also to the local community, referring physicians and rehabilitation specialists in the surrounding areas.
"Our therapies relieve the pain associated with arthritis on their own or in combination with medications. On the average we have seen an additional 50% reduction in pain for patients who are also taking medications for pain and stiffness" added Mr. Doederlein, "We agree with the medical experts: ‘combination therapy’ is the future and the best way to treat patients suffering with chronic diseases such as arthritis."
