Salazar erbohrt 28,2 g/t Gold, 359,5 Silber, 8,86% Kupfer und 20,45% Zink
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, 23.
(the “Company”) has acquired 100% of the shares of Mariana S.A. Comador (Mariana) including its 100% ownership of the 2350 hectare Santiago concession located in the Province of Loja (southern Ecuador).
To complete the acquisition the Company will pay all government tenure costs and make four cash payments of US $10,000 and issue 150,000 common shares of the Company. In addition the Company has agreed to a 1.5% NSR (Net Smelter Return); of which 50% can be purchased for a cash payment of US $850,000.
The area consists of primarily altered volcanic polymictic felsic, tuff-breccias with extensive zones of silica and alunite alteration for approximately 3 kilometres along the project road. The mineral assemblage of the quartz-alunite zone is well known to be associated with high sulphidation gold deposits. The property also contains a swarm of polymetallic bearing quartz veins, some of which were exploited as far back as the Spanish colonists.
The property is accessible year round by road and the Company will commence an initial exploration program in the near future.
The Mariana acquisition is subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Dear Shareholders and Friends:
As President and CEO of Salazar Resources Ltd., I wish you all a successful and happy new year and I am writing to briefly comment on the goals and objectives we have set for ourselves at Salazar for the coming year.
The Company's exploration activities over the past year at Curipamba were very promising and we plan on building on these successes.
Starting in February, with the mobilization of our second drill rig, we plan to continue with an agressive drill program in Ecuador with a focus on Curipamba where we plan to drill 20,000 metres.
Ecuador's social and economical climate has improved in the last several months; we continue to have excellent working relationships with the regional authorities and our community programs have further strengthened the Company's profile in the region. We are working closely with the local communities by reacting to their needs and maintaining open and ongoing discussions. We are working diligently to ensure that we have the backing and support of the local communities to become an active and welcomed partner by contributing to the community's economic and social well being.
The Metallurgical test programs for the El Domo deposit were initiated in late October 2009 and the program is ongoing. Preliminary conclusions are anticipated by the beginning of the second quarter 2011.
We look forward to an exciting year as we continue to follow up on other exploration targets at Curipamba including Sesmo Sur, La Vaquera, Agua Santa, Sesmo and to the East of the El Domo intrusion. We also plan to work on other potential mining projects such as Santiago and Ruminahui where we expect to have final permits by the end of the first quarter of 2011.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Feb 23, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: SRL)(FRANKFURT: CCG) - Mr. Fredy Salazar, President and CEO, is pleased to announce the latest assay results from recent drilling at the El Domo deposit in the Las Naves Central area of its Curipamba Volcanic Massive Sulphide (VMS) Project in Ecuador.
The latest results from the Curipamba exploration project are from a drill hole located 300 m south east of the known El Domo mineralization (see Figure 1: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/SRL0223.pdf). DDH 88 encountered an elevated gold and silver intersection typical of that expected at the margins and uppermost parts of major VMS systems.
Highlights:
- Curi-88 intersected 3.82 meters of mineralization averaging 4.77 g/t gold and 181.76 g/t silver.
"This new gold zone is a very important discovery for Salazar as it reinforces the potential for the discovery of significant and numerous precious metal deposits typically found at the periphery of VMS style systems such as El Domo," says Fredy Salazar, President and CEO. "We plan to conduct additional drilling in this area determine if there is a direct link between this new gold zone and the massive sulphide horizon at El Domo, or if it is related to another entirely new system."
The following table provides a summary of the significant intersections in DDH 88:

Exploration hole DDH 88, collared 300 m to the southeast of the known nearby El Domo massive sulphide deposit, was targeted on the presence of a strong geophysical anomaly, the proximity to a number of surficial mercury anomalies and local geological mapping. The intersection containing excellent precious metal values occurs at the contact between two major dacite lava flows. The mineralization comprises disseminated pyrite, yellow sphalerite, barite and minor galena. Although clearly stratiform, this new, relatively gold-rich, style of mineralization differs from the massive sulphide horizon encountered to date at the El Domo VMS deposit.
Furthermore, DDH 88 opens up the possibility that dacite lava flows to the south, originally considered barren, host stratiform gold-enriched massive sulphide mineralization. Salazar Resources plans to scout drill these areas, in particular those with strong geophysical (Induced Polarization chargeability) anomalies, to test this potential.
The above information has been prepared under the supervision of Tom Healy P.Eng. who is designated as a Qualified Person as defined by NI-43-101 with the ability and authority to verify the authenticity and validity of the data.
A QC program was used whereby 5% of all samples sent to the laboratory were standard samples with known silver and gold values. Sample preparation was performed by BSI Inspectorate Quito, Ecuador, using standard industry practices (sample prep minus 32). Analytical work was carried out at the BSI Inspectorate Laboratory in Lima, Peru, using fire assay methods for gold (Au-25 procedure). Standard samples, blanks and duplicate check samples were randomly inserted to the sample batch to ensure quality control.

Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SRL)(FRANKFURT:CCG) - Mr. Fredy Salazar, President and CEO, is pleased to announce the latest assay results from recent drilling at the El Domo deposit in the Las Naves Central area of its Curipamba Volcanic Hosted Massive Sulphide Project in Ecuador.
Results from the most recent six drill holes (To see Figure 1, please visit the following link: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/SZR_ELDOMO.pdf) demonstrate that the deposit remains open to the north east, to the east beneath the andesite cover and also to the south west.
The El Domo deposit now has a strike length of 850m North-South and an East-West width of between 200 to 300 m.
Highlights
-- Curi 94 intersected 6.41 meters at 3.38 g/t gold, 101.38 g/ t silver, 2.40% copper and 6.63% zinc within 16.08 m of mineralization. -- Curi-90 intersected 2.90 meters of mineralization averaging 6.80 g/t gold and 238.53 g/t silver and 8.30% zinc.
"The 16 meter intersection in DDH 94 is particularly important due to its position relative to a 3.13 m high-grade intersection in DDH 22located approximately 180 m to the north east" says Fredy Salazar, President and CEO. "We are optimistic that additional drilling in this area will establish continuity of potentially economic mineralization between these two drill holes and the current resource boundary further adding to what is already an exciting resource".

Technical Highlights:
The presence of a high grade massive sulphide intersection in DDH 94 expands the known mineralization an additional 50 m to the north and east. DDH 94 is located approximately 180 m south east of DDH 22 (4.77 g/t Au; 53.37 g/t Ag; 3.69% Cu and 1.62% Zn over 3.13m). Additional drilling is planned to test the strong geophysical anomaly present between DDH 94 and DDH 22.
Intersections in DDH 90 and 91, located in the southwest quadrant demonstrate the continuation of strong gold and zinc grades in the south west quadrant of the deposit.
The presence of almost 40 meters of lower grade sulphide mineralization in DDH 89 and including several zinc rich zones keep the western exploration limit of the deposit open, where additional follow up drilling is planned.
DDH 92 and 93 tested the extension of the massive sulphide body easterly below the sub-horizontal andesite intrusion over a 100 m strike length. The precious metal and zinc grades in DDH 93 offer further encouragement for the continuation of potentially economic mineralization to the east beneath the andesite cover.

Analytical work was carried out at the BSI Inspectorate Laboratory in Lima, Peru, using fire assay methods for gold (Au-25 procedure). Standard samples, blanks and duplicate check samples were randomly inserted to the sample batch to ensure quality control.
