(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Dublin - Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/e6c0e6/indian_solar_energ) has announced the addition of the "Indian Solar Energy Market Analysis" report to their offering.
Today, India finds itself on the path of becoming one of the leading nations in the solar energy sector. The government is taking steps towards implementing large MW scale solar power projects and is poised to position itself as one of the world's major solar producer. Besides, it is quickly developing itself as the major manufacturing hub for solar power plants. Effective utilization of India's solar potential lies in the successful implementation of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) by the government. This mission would also help in mitigating the international pressure with regard to emission reductions.
According to this latest research report Indian Solar Energy Market Analysis, the country definitively has a huge future growth potential for the solar photovoltaic industry. This is mainly due to the increasing electricity demand, high irradiation levels, favorable government policies, and investments worth billions of dollars being made in the sector.
Besides, the government is eager to increase the overall solar energy share in the country by concurrently improving infrastructural conditions in the country, especially with products, such as solar water heating systems and solar street lights. Majority of the states are deploying PV power plants and with the implementation of the National Solar Mission, it is expected that, the annual PV installed capacity will grow at a CAGR of around 44% during 2010-2013 to reach 900 MW by 2013 end.
Currently, the Indian solar energy market is being served by players, such as BHEL, Tata Solar, Moser Baer India, etc. The report contains comprehensive information about all the solar energy providers in India, with special focus on their recent developments and areas of expertise. It also explains the reason why all the incumbent players have been investing huge amounts in establishing their plants for solar energy across different states of the country.
"Indian Solar Energy Market Analysis report focuses on the growing marketplace for solar industry at the domestic level and analyzes the current market trends along with future growth prospects of the industry. It contains detail data on cumulative installed PV capacity and future market potential of the key states, thereby, helping clients in identifying factors critical to their successful market penetration. Besides, the report analyzes the current prevailing trends in the market, which will further help the experts to decide the growth rate in the coming years.

A new country market report from EuPD Research covering the Indian PV market is set for release in December. Based on insights on India’s National Solar Mission which sets the framework for future energy policies, it offers a precise analysis of the Indian PV market in terms of market potential and challenges. The assessment of current and future sales channels will form the basis for a successful market penetration.
The Indian government has set the target of 20,000 MW to be generated by photovoltaic plants by the year 2022. This rapid growth should be achieved by making the strong segment of on-grid photovoltaic including large solar plants the focal point of generation. This would, however, require substantial improvement of the infrastructure for enhanced grid connectivity. Currently, annual generation is at 20 - 30 MW. The aforementioned process is scheduled to take place in three phases: First phase 2012 - 2013 (goal 500 MW), second phase 2013 - 2017 (goal 4,000 -10,000 MW) and third phase 2017 - 2022 (goal 20,000 MW).
