Asia Water’s Order Book Reaches RMB 820 Million With A Further 37 Projects Worth Approximately RMB 550 Million Secured In PRC The Board of Directors of Asia Water Technology Ltd. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that, for the 11 months ended 30 November 2006, the Company has secured a further 37 water treatment projects in various cities within 13 provinces in the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”) with a total contract value of approximately RMB55 0 million (the “Projects”). The values of these projects range from less than RMB 1 million to RMB 215 million, and are located in Shanghai City, Anhui, Shangdong, Shanxi, Guangdong, Xingjiang, Jiangsu, Henan, Hebei, Zhejiang, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Hunan and Hubei. Of these projects, 34 pertain to water treatment and automation and control projects for power plants, and include 21 ‘water purification treatment’ projects worth RMB 136 million and 13 ‘automation and control’ projects worth RMB 23 million. Notably, these include our 2nd nuclear powerplant project win in the Qinshan Nuclear Powerplant project worth RMB 34 million. The remaining 3 projects relate to municipal (BOT/BOO-typed) projects totaling approximately RMB 390 million. Of these, 2 projects worth a total of RMB 260 million were subcontracted from our subsidiary companies. In accordance with “FRS 27 – Consolidated & Separate Financial Statements”, profits and losses resulting from intragroup transactions that are recognized in assets, such as inventory and fixed assets, are eliminated in full. Accordingly, RMB 260 million of revenue resulting from these 2 contracts will be eliminated upon consolidation of the Company and its subsidiary companies. With these 37 projects, the order book of the Company reaches RMB 820 million, which is expected to be realized within 6 to 30 months from July 2006. The Company expects the Projects to have a positive impact on the revenue of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2006, 2007 and 2008. RMB550
