Cisco Systems Q1 earns 15c, revenue $5.1 bln 05.11.2003 22:15    Headlines


   SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) - Cisco Systems  almost doubled its first-quarter net
income to 15 cents a share due to cost reductions while revenue increased 5
percent to $5.1 billion. Excluding charges, Cisco earned 17 cents a share, two
cents better than most analysts expected.
