Dear Mr. X
Thanks for reaching out again.
The timeline of a deal is of concern to yourself and other shareholders
for understandable reasons. I think I can help address some of the
interpretations of the timeline. As you voiced in your message.
First of all, the companies that Sirona has gained interest from and who
they are in discussions with are, as you say very large and reputable
multi-national corporations. There are no set deadlines, meaning Sirona
does not dictate timelines for the review of the technology. Also, as
mentioned in the presentation, see the footnote (slide 11), that the
timeline is provided only to help show the potential revenue generation
from milestones achieved. This forward looking statement was not a
forecast or engagement, rather a way to help show potential revenue
targets.
On another note - Yes there are indeed numerous material transfer
agreements out with major corporations and that some discussions are
very advanced. Although it can be a little frustrating, it is
understandable that they cannot predict with absolute certainty all
time frames. Sirona is on the right track and has gained attention
worldwide for their science. They are continuously presenting and
demonstrating the efficacy of their science at large conferences around
the globe. The most recent being the IMCAS, which is a major medical
(dermatology) conference which was held in Taipei, China this year.
Sirona was asked to present at this conference and it went very well.
Essentially this conference increased their status and credibility among
some of the elite of the industry.
This is a very exciting time for Sirona and I am happy for your
interest. Things can develop very quickly at this point.
I hope this helps, let me know if there is anything else.
