Yara International "overweight," target price raised
6:00a.m. - J.P. Morgan Securities
LONDON, April 22 (newratings.com) - Analysts at JP Morgan maintain their "overweight" rating on Yara International (YAR), while raising their estimates for the company. The target price has been raised from NOK380 to NOK460.
In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company has reported its 1Q results ahead of the estimates. Yara International delivered significant margin expansion in its specialty fertilizers business and robust volume growth in Europe in the quarter, the analysts say. The increased Chinese fertilizer export tariffs and the reduced 2008 capacity growth forecasts from Fertecon are likely to help offset the seasonal fertilizer price weakness in May-July, JP Morgan adds. The EPS estimates for the current and next year have been raised from NOK30.89 to NOK40.41 and from NOK34.33 to NOK47.47, respectively.
