Für die 7.0 DD Anlage wird in Cuxhaven eine Fertigung aus dem Boden gestampft :-)
Nach fast 15 Jahren kehrt Siemens heim nach Deutschland...Glückwunsch
http://www.rechargenews.com/incoming/1407711/...e-turbines-in-germanyOffshore turbine market leader Siemens is investing €200m ($217.2m) in building a plant to produce nacelles for its new 7MW machine at the German North Sea port of Cuxhaven.
The groundbreaking for the 170,000-square-metre factory is scheduled for later this year, with production of the first components to begin in mid-2017. It will employ up to 1,000 skilled workers.
The factory will be at the edge of Cuxhaven's harbour, allowing heavy components to be loaded directly onto transportation vessels, and avoiding expensive ground transport.
It will handle the final assembly of generators, hubs and nacelle back-ends, which are all connected to form complete nacelles, the core of offshore wind turbines.
Siemens and Cuxhaven officials will hold an official signing ceremony for the new plant on 13 August.
