"Those who violated our airspace are the ones who need to apologize. Our pilots and our armed forces, they simply fulfilled their duties" by shooting down the Sukhoi Su-24, he said.
Meanwhile, during a visit to Cyprus, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said "We don’t need to apologize on an occasion in which we are right,” adding, “But we said on the phone that we are sorry,” referring to a conversation with his Russian counterpart.
