Stock market view: BP and Shell better choice than American peers 08/19/2020 08:43 AM, Source: ABMfn (ABM FN-Dow Jones) BP and Royal Dutch Shell will show better profitability than US oil giants thanks to their recent dividend cuts. According to analysts from Piper Sandler.
Due to all the headwinds in the sector, the two European oil giants were forced to lower their dividends. As a result, after paying the reduced dividend, Shell will already break even at an oil price of $ 37.55 and BP at $ 42.47, Piper Sandler analysts calculated. For the American oil giants Chevron and Exxon Mobil this is respectively 49.74 and 56.24 dollars. ...)
