GBS Employees Recognized by IBM
June 29, 2011 – NEW YORK, NY – GBS Enterprises (OTCBB:GBSX) announced today that GBS professionals Nathan Freeman, Tim Tripcony, and Chris Toohey have been recognized as “IBM Champions” for their contributions to Lotus and IBM Collaboration Solutions. Ed Brill, Director, Lotus Software, IBM Software Group announced this year’s group of “IBM Champions” at the Admin 2011 trade show in Las Vegas. Ed Brill describes these IBM Champions as “…strong evangelists, community contributors, knowledge sharers, and all around good people from the Lotus community worldwide.”

Nathan and Tim have been instrumental in the development of GBS’s new Transformer 2.0 technology, which helps enterprises move large portfolios of Lotus Notes applications to the Web. It is a set of analytical and executable processes that transforms customers’ existing Lotus Notes rich client applications to the Web, where they can now be run in the cloud, on mobile devices and be more easily integrated with social media platforms. And Chris has been working with our Transformer customers to help transform their applications for access on any device, anywhere.
